Privacy policy
This page explains what we collect when you use this store, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
When you buy something, we collect what we need to get it to you and take the payment:
- Your name, email address, shipping address and billing address.
- Your phone number, if you give it to us.
- What you ordered and what you paid.
When you just browse, our store platform collects some technical information automatically: your IP address, the browser and device you are using, the pages you looked at, and how you arrived here.
What we do not collect
We never see or store your full card number. Payments are handled by our payment provider. The card details go to them, not to us.
We do not ask for health information, and please do not send us any. If you tell us about a health condition in a support message, we only use it to answer you.
Why we use it
- To take payment and send you your order.
- To email you about that order.
- To answer your messages.
- To spot fraud and protect the store.
- To understand which pages people find useful.
- To send marketing email, but only if you opted in. You can stop it any time.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that make the store work, and only what they need:
- Shopify runs this store and stores order data.
- Our payment provider processes your payment.
- Shipping carriers get your address so they can deliver.
- Our email provider sends order and marketing email.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not trade it or rent it out.
We will hand over information if the law requires it, for example a valid court order.
Cookies
This store uses cookies. Some are essential, such as the one that keeps your cart from emptying between pages. Others help us see which pages get used. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but the cart may stop working properly if you block the essential ones.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we have to for tax and accounting. We keep marketing contacts until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete it, where we are not required to keep it.
- Stop sending you marketing.
Depending on where you live you may have more rights than these, including under the GDPR in Europe and the UK, or the CCPA in California. Those rights include asking us not to sell your information, which we do not do anyway.
To make any of these requests, message us. We will reply within 30 days. We may need to check who you are first.
Marketing email
We only email marketing to people who asked for it. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works immediately. Order emails are different — you get those because you bought something, and they are not marketing.
Children
This store is not for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think we have, tell us and we will delete it.
Where your data goes
Our providers may store and process your information in countries other than yours, including the United States. They are required to protect it to the standard described here.
Security
This site uses encryption, and our providers are chosen partly for their security. No system is perfect, but if a breach ever affected your data we would tell you.
Changes to this page
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant we will say so on the store.
